What does Genealogy Research entail?

Genealogy research is the study of family lineage and ancestry.

It involves tracing one's family tree and investigating the connections between family members across generations.

Genealogy research typically begins with gathering information about one's parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, and then using this information to explore further back in time.

The research often involves consulting various types of records, such as census data, birth and death certificates, marriage licenses, military records, and immigration documents. DNA testing can also be used to confirm relationships between family members and to discover new relatives.

As a genealogist I can provide you with a deeper understanding of your family history, cultural background, and personal identity.
